I'm a blossoming technical artist utilizing my makeup experience to create immersive digital artwork and tools. My work combines programming, mathematics, and artistic vision to create unique visual experiences that bridge the physical and digital realms.
With years of professional makeup artistry experience spanning SFX fabrication, character design, beauty, editorial, and production work for film, TV, and theatre, I've developed a keen eye for visual storytelling and transformation. This foundation has sparked my journey into computational creativity, where I'm now applying these same artistic principles to digital mediums. After years in a hands-on artistic career, I was surprised to discover how much I enjoy the technical and logical aspects of digital creation—finding unexpected parallels between crafting the perfect contour and writing elegant code. The problem-solving nature of programming and the mathematical precision required for 3D modeling have revealed new dimensions to my creativity that complement my artistic instincts in ways I never anticipated.
My passion for visual expression has led me to explore game design and development with Unity, 3D modeling and animation in Blender, and graphics programming through Unity Shader Graph and WebGL/GLSL. I'm simultaneously building my capabilities in web development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, while experimenting with creative coding in languages like C++, C#, P5.js, and Python to generate innovative digital art.
I aim to create a seamless bridge between physical and digital art forms, where my makeup expertise informs my digital creations and vice versa. By combining traditional artistry with emerging technology skills, I'm developing unique workflows and aesthetics that challenge conventional boundaries in visual art. Whether I'm applying prosthetics for a film character or coding a particle system for an interactive installation, my goal remains the same: to create immersive experiences that captivate and inspire.
